The spirals and swirls On the dresses and shirts Remind me of the clothes That my niece loves. She has always been a fan Of patterned clothes Whereas I preferred solids And neutrals in clothing. I smile as I grab a hat With sparkles and A giant pink ribbon bow For her seventh birthday.
