Drawing in your attention
To the glamorous trap.
You seek the attention
Hoping that it’ll bring you what you’ve always wanted –
Attention.
You think of all the scenarios
That may occur
Dragging your mind deeper and deeper
Into a sense of uncertainty and want.
But will it bring you attention?
Will it give you your desired outcome?
You ponder over little things
Forgetting the world behind you
And dreaming of achieving
Your true desire.
“Buy the dress,” one says.
“Don’t! It will do you nothing,” says another.
Bickering back and forth,
Hoping for a decision to come – yes or no?
