Igneous rocks are formed from the cooling of lava or magma.

They include granite,

Obsidian, pumice and many more.

They are fascinating and interesting.

Sedimentary rocks are formed by the collection of small deposited particles.

Sandstone, limestone, and shale

Are a few examples

Of these spellbinding rocks.

Metamorphic rocks are formed with metamorphism.

Pressure and heat cause the rock to change from either sedimentary or igneous.

Marble, quartzite, and gneiss are a few examples

Of these captivating rocks.
